  • after many years working as an interior decorator it was time for a change in katrina’s life. with a passion for pets, a strong entrepreneurial drive, and an everlasting love for the outdoors, our founder katrina was ready to launch her first fully independent pet service business.

    now came the first creative challenge - choosing a name!

    “stop trying to make fetch happen,” quoted by none other than the iconic regina george in the original mean girls film. our founder katrina became inspired by… wanting to make fetch happen! she was ready to prove regina george wrong.

    dogs love fetch - and being an anti-mean girl is a core value… the perfect name came to mind!

    established in 2019, we made fetch happen officially opened their books, clipped on their leashes, tied up their sneakers and headed out for their first adventure!

  • yes! we made fetch happen is fully insured by profur.

  • yes! each pet family has a profile on pet pocketbook where you can access a detailed profile, hold a spot on the master schedule, make requests, cancel appointments, communicate through the messaging system, and receive daily updates with a photo of your pet at the end of each service!

  • we can't control the weather, and we walk rain or shine! however we do our best to keep your dog fresh & clean. we avoid muddy trails on wet days, but we are unable to give the dog(s) a full wash before sending them home. we ask clients to provide a clean towel at the door for drop off, in addition to a good quality rain coat.

  • yes! we love referrals! if you're an existing client of ours, refer a friend and you both receive a free walk*!

    *with a 3 month commitment

  • not necessarily - our small team works on a rotating schedule, and we each love to build a bond with all of the dogs in the event their regular handler is unavailable. your pet will likely have the opportunity to walk with each of us depending on the schedule!

  • we require minimum 1x booking a week for pack walk, buddy walk, and private walk services. if you're in need of a temporary services please reach out anyways as we may be able to help!

    we create a weekly schedule each friday for the following week, so we request all clients have their schedule requests sent before 5PM each friday to guarantee a spot on the schedule. we can usually take last minute bookings with 24 hours notice, however requested time window may not be available.

  • as we are a small business we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations to avoid additional fees.
